Sanskriti University Mathura Uttar Pradesh has emerged as the top institution in the academic institution category, holding the fifth spot in filing patent applications. The University has made outstanding progress this year by filing 301 patents. The office of Controller General of Patents, Designs, and Trademarks, Government of India released the official document recently, where the Indian Institute of Technology (Collectively) secure the 1st position, Lovely Professional University, and  Chandigarh University  2nd and third, Chandigarh group of colleges 4th  and Sanskriti University secured the 5th positions.

Sachin Gupta, Chancellor of Sanskriti University said, “This is the proud moment for us to be at fifth position in the top ten with the highest number of Patent Applications. We have tenaciously promoted institutional reforms enhancing translational and transformative research supporting an empowered India. Our state Uttar Pradesh as well showed remarkable performance with filing patent applications, this year ”

“The university has created an ecosystem that encourages and makes it easier for its researchers to file patents over time. It is supported by academics and researchers who are engaged in transformative and translational research in fields that are important to the sector.The university has consistently made advances in research and technology. The institution has emphasized the value of research papers and inventions ever since it was founded” he added

Sanskriti University is among the fastest-growing universities in India in a short period of time. The University has acknowledged the value of research and innovation. The research and development department at Sanskriti University has been concentrating on implementing innovation with a social conscience. Sanskriti is among the few institutions with state government approval to build an incubation center at a projected cost of Rs 1 crore.
