India : Symbiosis Centre for Management and Human Resource Development (SCMHRD), a constituent of Symbiosis International (Deemed University), announces the commencement of admissions for its Master of Business Administration (MBA)  programmes through the Symbiosis National Aptitude Test (SNAP) 2024. The institute is now accepting applications for its MBA programme which offers specialization in the area of Marketing, Human Resource Management, Finance and Operations Management, MBA (Infrastructure Development and Management), and MBA (Business Analytics) programmes. This announcement marks the beginning of the admission process for the academic year 2025-2026 and the academic batch of 2025-2027. Key Dates and Details

The registration for SNAP 2024 is now open and will close on November 22, 2024 (Friday). The SNAP examination serves as the primary screening test for admissions at SCMHRD. Registrations for SCMHRD will be closing on December 7,  2024 after which candidature for SCMHRD will not be considered.

The SNAP Test will be conducted on three separate dates: December 8, 2024 (Sunday), December 15, 2024 (Sunday), and December 21, 2024 (Saturday). These multiple exam dates provide candidates with flexibility and the opportunity to improve their performance.

Eligibility Criteria

For the MBA programme, applicants must have a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university or institution with at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ST candidates). Final-year students are also eligible to apply, provided they complete their degree with the required percentage.

For the MBA in Business Analytics (BA) programme, candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree from any recognized university or institution of national importance with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade (45% for SC/ST candidates) and a minimum of two years of full-time work experience after graduation. Candidates who have completed their qualifying degree from a foreign university must obtain an equivalence certificate from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).

For the MBA in Infrastructure Development and Management (IDM) programme, the candidates must have a) Graduation in any Engineering stream (B.E. or B.Tech.) Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch.) or Bachelor of Planning (B.Plan.) from any recognized University/ Institution of National Importance with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade (45% marks or equivalent grade for Scheduled Castes (SC)/Scheduled Tribes (ST) candidates). OR b) Bachelor degree from non-engineering branches from any recognized University/Institution of National Importance with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade, 45% marks or equivalent grade for Scheduled Castes (SC) / Scheduled Tribes (ST) candidates] along with a minimum of 12 months work experience after graduation in sectors namely infrastructure, infrastructure consultancy, energy, real estate, logistics, supply chain and any other infrastructure allied industry.
