The Design Village (TDV), organized interactive sessions for students. The session aimed to inspire young minds, to pursue the design field and be continuously open to learning new things and skills in every step of their life. Ankur Warikoo, (Founder of Nearbuy, public speaker, and influencer), was present as the speaker of the day. He shared his experience, challenges, and how he overcame his fear while working in a different field.

The session began with Warikoo sharing his journey and struggles. His stories resonated across the hall, from studying astrophysics in the United States to dropping out of business school and finally founding a successful startup. While speaking he stressed 4 important elements and said “First, having a reliable partner is a fundamental life decision we must all make. Second, think about what’s the worst thing that can happen, and be okay with it. The third would be not knowing what you will be doing 5 years from now, which is completely fine. Finally, reflect on your failures and not move from one to another without them.”

“3 signs that you have to look for, that can hinder your experience right now is You’re straight away connecting with people similar to you, you are already looking at your job & prospects and avoiding the things you fear and You have made your TDV journey into a transaction, You cannot buy the effort.” he further added.

120 students and Many faculty members of The Design Village, were also present during the session.
