Jodhpur-based Utkarsh Classes organised a felicitation ceremony for the winners of the Teaching talent hunt show organised by the firm in July at a function in Jodhpur. The 11 winners were awarded a memento and a cash prize of Rs 51,000 each at the function held at Cafe 13, Utkarsh Corporate office in Jodhpur.

The teacher’s talent hunt was an attempt to recognise and laud the efforts of talented education practitioners across the country. Thousands of teachers participated in the event and 11 talented teachers bagged the coveted spots.

The participants conducted live classes on Sundays on “Utkarsh Classes Jodhpur” YouTube channel. The winners were chosen by live voting and jury votes.

The winners include Ravindra (Current Affairs), Shravan (Economics), Mukesh (Science), Raghavendra (History), Balaram (Geography), Shankar (Science), Sangeetha (Hindi), Surendra (Reasoning), Shekhar (English), KK Krishna (Maths) and Kinjal (Psychology) .

Talking about the event, Dr Nirmal Gehlot, Founder and CEO of Utkarsh Classes said, “Teaching is a tough job and good teachers have the ability to mould the career paths of the students they teach. This is a token of appreciation. They have showcased their talent and skillsets. It will help them do better in their fields. We will strive to offer a bigger platform to these talented teachers.”

Utkarsh Classes started as a brick-and-mortar institute for government test preparation in 2002.
