Team Samarthya, the Human Potential Centre of XLRI Jamshedpur, successfully hosted the 12th edition of Disha, Jamshedpur’s largest career counselling fair for school students on 2nd February, 2025. Dedicated to guiding young minds toward informed career choices, Disha 2025 witnessed an overwhelming response with 650+ registrations and a footfall of over 500 attendees from 50+ schools across the city. High footfall was seen from schools like DAV Public School, Loyola School, Motilal Nehru Public School, Kasidih High School and DBMS English School.

Samarthya, known for its commitment to student development, organizes multiple initiatives throughout the year to foster growth and excellence. This year’s Disha was powered by the support of 140+ XLRI student volunteers and featured 25+ expert-led career panels spanning diverse fields such as Advertising, Armed Forces, Data Analytics, Engineering, Medicine, UPSC, Sports, Dance & Music, Social Work, Law, and Chartered Accountancy.

In addition to personalized one-on-one career counselling, the event featured an inspiring speaker session by Mr. Sumit Agrawal, a renowned entrepreneur and career coach, who shared valuable insights on navigating career aspirations.

Through Disha, Samarthya continues to bridge the gap in career awareness and empower students to unlock their full potential.
