Jammu: Chenab Valley Power Projects [P] Limited (CVPP) has released recruitment notification to fill up 95 Trainee posts. These posts include: Trainee Engineer, Trainee Officer (HR), Trainee Officer (Finance), Trainee Officer (Law), Trainee Officer (Geology), and Junior Engineer.

Key Dates & Application Fees: The opening date of online registration/ payment of application fees- online is 18 November 2017. The closing date for submission of application is 15 December 2017. The written test will be held in the month of January/February 2018.

Qualifying Marks: For General/OBC, 60% marks or equivalent grade in the qualifying course recognized by Indian University / Institute approved by AICTE except Trainee Officer (Finance). For SC/ST/PWD, 50% marks or equivalent grade in the qualifying course recognized by Indian University / Institute approved by AICTE except Trainee Officer (Finance).

Selection Procedure: The selection process for the posts will consist of written Test and Interview. The candidates who qualify in the written test and stand high on merit will be called for interview.

About the Company: CVPP has been incorporated on 13/06/2011 as a Joint Venture Company of NHPC Limited, JKSPDC and PTC (India) Limited for execution of 03 Hydroelectric Projects namely Pakal Dul, Kiru and Kwar with agrregate capacity of 2164 MW at Chenab River Basin in Distt Kishtwar of Jammu & Kashmir, with equity participation of 49%, 49% and 2% by NHPC,JKSPDC & PTC respectively. The Company shall execute these Projects on Build, Own, Operate and Maintain (BOOM) basis.
