Srikakulam: Dr BR Ambedkar University, Srikakulam has released two recruitment notifications for appointing 31 Assistant Professor posts and 08 Associate Professor posts.
Key Dates for For Associate Professors: The eligible candidates should submit application form for Associate Professors by post by 5.00 P.M. on or before 31 January 2018.
Key Dates for Assistant Professors: Last date for submission of online application is 31 January 2018. Filled in online application along with acknowledgement of Registration fee, can be downloaded and the same (hard copy) should be submitted with all necessary documents on or before 06 February 2018 by 5 PM.
The application registration fee is Rs 2,000/- (Rs two thousand only) for general candidates and Rs.1,000/- (Rs. one thousand only) in case of SC & ST candidates.

The minimum qualifications and scales of pay required for appointment in the University as laid down by the UGC (approved by the Government in G.O.Ms.No.14 Higher Education (UE.II) Dept. dated 20-2-2010 and G.O.Ms.No.38 Higher Education (UE.II) Dept., dt.23-06-2016 of Government of Andhra Pradesh and contained in the UGC Regulations on Minimum Qualifications for Appointment of Teachers and Other Academic Staff in Universities and Colleges and Measures for the Maintenance of Standards in Higher Education, 2010 vide letter No. F. 3-1/2009 dated 30.06.2010, No.F.1-2/2016 (PS/Amendment), dated 11-07-2016) for the posts of Assistant Professors.
Minimum Qualifications prescribed for Appointment of Teaching Faculty for Commerce, Economics, English, Law, Library & Information Science, Rural Development, Social Work, Computer Science, Mathematics and Organic Chemistry:
Good academic record as defined by the concerned university with at least 55% of the marks or equivalent grade where grading system is practiced at the Master’s degree level in a relevant/concerned subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.
Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidate should have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET.
