New Delhi: Recruitment & Assessment Centre (RAC) of Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) has released a Short Notice for upcoming Direct Recruitment of Scientist ‘B’ in DRDO -2021.
The short notice said that recruitment for vacancies in the subject/disciplines for which GATE is conducted will be based on valid GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) score and/or written test/interview.
Only those candidates who possess valid GATE score on the crucial date of eligibility will be considered for shortlisting for written test/interview.
Recruitment for vacancies in the discipline of Psychology will be based on the score in UGC NET (National Eligibility Test) in Psychology and interview. Only those candidates who have qualified the UGC NET examination and possess a NET score on the crucial date of eligibility will be considered for shortlisting for interview.
The Notice stated that all the aspirants possess a valid GATE qualification (for GATE disciplines) and a NET qualification for Associate Professor (for Psychology discipline) while applying for future vacancies.
The detailed advertisement alongwith eligibility criteria will be notified in the Employment News as well as websites of the organisation i.e. drdo.gov.in and rac.gov.in in due course of time.
DRDO Scientist B recruitment 2020: For 2020, DRDO had released employment notification (Advertisement No -137) for recruiting Scientist `B’ in early part of 2020. Initially, the total vacant posts were 167. However, DRDO hiked number of vacant posts for Scientist B to 311 from 167.
The release of short notice by DRDO hints some indicative information for aspirants especially BTech students.
