The faculty posts are available at the following levels: Assistant Professor – Academic Pay Level: 10, Basic Pay: Rs. 57,700 + DA; Associate Professor – Academic Pay Level: 13A, Basic Pay: Rs. 1,31,400 + DA; Professor – Academic Pay Level: 14, Basic Pay: Rs. 1,44,200 + DA; Senior Professor – Academic Pay Level: 15, Basic Pay: Rs. 1,82,200 + DA; and BM Birla Distinguished Research Professor.

Eligibility for Assistant Professor:
- PhD in advertised discipline from an institution of high repute.
- First class UG & PG degree in advertised discipline and a good academic record throughout
