Mumbai: Recruitment for faculty positions in various universities, higher educational institutes have picked up. These institutes include premier institutes also: IITs, NITs, IIMs and Central Universities.
Currently there are more than 30 universities where recruitment window is open for faculty positions. There are seven IITs which are on recruitment drive: IIT Delhi, IIT Ropar, IIT Rookee, IIT Patna, IIT Bhubaneswar, IIT Bhilai, and IIT Dharwad.
Similarly, there five NITs where faculty recruitment is going on: NIT Jamshedpur, NIT Warangal, NIT Karnataka, NIT Kurukshetra and NIT Silchar.
IIT Roorkee has released official notification for hiring faculty posts for its 22 departments. The closing date for submission of application here is 29 December 2017. Similarly, IIT Ropar and IIT Patna have notified their recruitment plan for hiring faculty positions. The closing date for submission of application in IIT Delhi is 31 December 2017.
Central University of Jammu, a central university based in Samba in Jammu & Kashmir, has released recruitment notification to fill teaching posts for its 20 departments. The total number of vacant posts is 52. These positions are available at the following levels: Assistant Professors, Associate Professors, and Professors. The closing date for submission of application is 07 December 2017.
South Asia University, an International University located in New Delhi, has released recruitment notification to fill up faculty members. The total number of vacant posts is 11.
