Mumbai: In India there are 23 Indian Institutes of Technology. These are the dream destination for students for engineering and research studies. Also, these institutes provide lucrative and challenging career options to aspiring candidates. Many candidates compete to get Faculty jobs in IITs.

Currently, there are six IITs where recruitment window is open for faculty posts. These IITs have
invited applications for Faculty Positions at the level of Assistant Professors, Associate Professor and Professor in their various Departments/Centres/Schools.

IIT Delhi invites applications for Faculty Positions at the level of Professor and Associate Professor in the following Departments/Centres/Schools. Here, the closing date for submission of application is 31 December 2017.

IIT Ropar has released recruitment notification to hire faculty positions in its various departments. The closing date for submission of application is 15 December 2017.

IIT Ropar -list of departments where faculty positions are vacant: Departments of Chemistry, Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Centre for Biomedical Engineering, Center for Materials and Energy Engineering (proposed to be transformed into Department of Metallurgical and Materials Engineering), Electrical Engineering, Humanities & Social Sciences (Economics: Banking & Finance, Econometrics; English: English Literature; Linguistics, English, Sociology, Psychology), Mathematics, Mechanical Engineering, and Physics.

The recruitment window is open for IIT Patna. The closing date for submission of application is 18 December 2017.

IIT Bhubaneswar, IIT Dharwad and IIT Bhilai also opened their recruitment window for appointing faculty posts.
