Mumbai: In India there 23 Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), 31 National Institutes of Technology (NITs) and 20 Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs). All these institutes are National Institutes of Importance under Ministry of HRD. The remuneration and Pay Package of faculty positions in these institutes is outstanding and lucrative.
Currently, there are many such institutes are on recruitment drive to fill up vacant faculty posts. There six NITs, three IITs and two IIMs have released notification to recruit teaching staff. The three such IITs are as followed: IIT Bhubaneswar, IIT Indore and IIT Bhilai.
The six NITs where recruitment window is open are as followed: NIT Raipur, NIT Silchar, NIT Allahabad, NIT Durgapur, NIT Jamshedpur, and NIT Delhi. Out of these NIT Silchar is hiring 137 faculty posts while NIT Jamshedpur is recruiting 123 faculty members.
Meanwhile recruitment for faculty position is going on in IIM Nagpur and IIM Shilong.
