As on 27 March 2026, four central universities are recruiting faculty posts. These posts are available at Professors, Associate Professors and Assistant Professor levels. The total number of vacant posts are 134. The total number of vacant Assistant Professors are 50.
Pay Scale: The post of Assistant Professor is in Rs. 57,700/- in Pay Matrix Level-10 (as per VII Pay Commission) plus usual allowances as admissible under the rules of University of Delhi from time to time.
