New Delhi, 30 March 2026: In India, there are 32 National Institutes of Technology (NITs) and more than 20 Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIITs). These premier research and education institutes admit PhD scholars in two sessions.
As on 29 May 2026, there are four NITs have announced PhD Admission for July 2026-27 session.. These institutes offer attractive fellowships, popularly known as Institute Fellowships. The total number of Institute Fellowships will be more than 150.
