New Delhi, 28 March 2022: In India there are more than more than 400 state universities . These institutes also provide attractive career opportunities in teaching profession. There are many government colleges in India.
According to the UGC existing norms, candidates who qualify National Eligibility Test or State Eligibility Test (SET) are eligible to apply for the post of assistant professor. Candidates who have PhD degree in accordance with UGC regulations will be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/SLET/SET.
As on 28 March 2022, there are four state universities and Two Colleges under University of Delhi have opened faculty recruitment window. The total number of posts are more than 300 posts in these state universities and Colleges.

New Delhi, 21 March 2022: Deshbandhu College, under University of Delhi, has announced recruitment of Assistant Professors. The total number of vacant posts are 132 in 19 Departments.
Pay Scales: Academic Level 10 with rationalized entry pay of Rs 57,700/- as per 7th CPC pay matrix in addition to other usual allowances.
