New Delhi: Hindustan Urvarak & Rasayan Limited (HURL) has released employment notification for recruiting Fresh Engineers through GATE 2019. The total number of vacant posts are 90: Chemical Engineering – 38 posts; Mechanical Engineering – 25; Electrical Engineering – 15; Instrumentation Engineering – 12.
Key Dates: The closing date for submission of online application is 15 March 2020. The Cut-off date for calculating age 15 March 2020.
Eligibility Conditions:
Interested candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria should have qualified GATE – 2019.
Chemical Engineering: Full time BE/B.Tech/B.Sc (Engineering) Degree in Chemical Engineering with minimum 60% marks.
Mechanical Engineering: Full time BE/B.Tech/B.Sc (Engineering) Degree in Mechanical Engineering with minimum 60% marks.
Electrical Engineering: Full time BE/B.Tech/B.Sc (Engineering) Degree in Electrical Engineering/ Electrical & Electronics Engineering with minimum 60% marks.
Instrumentation Engineering: Full time BE/B.Tech/B.Sc (Engineering) Degree in Instrumentation Engg., / Electronics Engineering/ Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering/ Electronics & Communication Engineering/ Electrical & Instrumentation/ Control & Instrumentation with minimum 60% marks.
The Upper age limit is 28 years.
Selection Procedure: The Graduate Engineers from the relevant disciplines should have appeared in GATE-2019 in the same discipline. Only GATE-2019 score is valid for this recruitment exercise in HURL. Score from GATE-2018 or from any previous GATE examination is not valid.
On the basis of GATE-2019 score, the candidates will be shortlisted for further selection process
comprising of:
- Behavioural Test
- Group Discussion (GD)/Group Task (GT)
- Personal Interaction (PI) for assessment of different facets of knowledge, skills etc.
Candidates have to essentially qualify in the GATE-2019 examination. In addition, candidates will have
to separately qualify in Behavioural Test, Group Discussion (GD)/ Group Task (GT) and Personal
Interview (PI) successfully for being adjudged as suitable for selection.
Final merit will be prepared based on GATE-2019 score and scores obtained by the candidates in
Behavioural Test, Group Discussion (GD)/ Group Task (GT) and Personal Interview (PI)taken together.
Merit will be prepared discipline-wise.
The Offer of Appointment shall be issued to the suitable candidates in the order of merit and based on requirement.
