Sri City, 16 November 2021: Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Sri City (Chittor, Andhra Pradesh), an Institute of National Importance under Ministry of Education, is recruiting Assistant Professors.
The institute presently offers UG programmes in two disciplines- Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) and Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE). The institute offers MS and PhD programmes in both disciplines. The institute also offers unique Part-Time PhD programmes for IT Industry personnel and Scientists who working in Government of India Research labs such as DRDO, ISRO, etc.
A new MTech Programme in AI & Machine Learning is being launched from 2020-21.
The following positions are open in Computer Science & Engineering/Electronics & Communication Engineering:
- Assistant Professor Grade (I): Equivalent to Level 12 in 7th CPC (Rs.101500- 167400)
- Assistant Professor Grade (II): Equivalent to Level 11 in 7th CPC (Rs. 68900- 117200)
- Assistant Professor (on Contract): Equivalent to Level 10 in 7th CPC (Rs 57700- 98200).
QUALIFICATION:
UG and PG degrees in the relevant or related disciplines of Engineering/ Technology and PhD degree in relevant disciplines from recognized universities with excellent academic records.
All new entrants shall have Ph.D. in relevant or equivalent discipline and shall have first class in their preceding Degrees.
Candidates who have earned their PhD /Post Doc experiences from reputed overseas universities or CFTIs such as IISc, IITs, NITs etc. with high potential for quality teaching and research are encouraged to apply.
