Bodh Gaya, 21 December  2020: Indian Institute of Management (IIM),  Bodh Gaya, has released PhD Admission Notification for 2021-22. The institute offers PhD Admission in six management and its related subjects. PhD Scholars will be provided with Monthly Fellowships at @Rs 32,800 to Rs 39,000

Key Dates: The application window will remain open from 16 December  2020 – 31 March 2021.

Financial Assistance: IIM Bodh Gaya will offer scholarship to research scholars. The fellowship will cover all academic expenses (tuition and library fees) and hostel fee.

Monthly Stipend:

Till Comprehensive Exam :Rs. 32,800/-

Post Comprehensive Exam :Rs. 35,400/-

Post approval of Thesis Proposal :Rs. 39,300/-

Additional Financial Support provided in the form of Contingency Grant; To purchase Laptop; and To attend Conferences.

Eligibility Conditions:

Education: Master’s degree in any discipline, with at least 60 percent marks or equivalent grade point average,

OR Professional qualifications like CA, ICWA, CS with at least 60 percent marks  or equivalent grade point average,

OR Five year/four year Integrated Master’s degree programme in any discipline, with at least 60 percent marks, obtained after completing higher secondary schooling (10+2) or equivalent,

OR Four Year/Eight Semester Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (B.E./B.Tech./ B. Arch.) with a minimum CGPA of 6.5 out of 10 or equivalent.

Those who are appearing for their final year examination in the current academic year may also apply. However, their admission to the programme will be provisional subject to their successful completion of all requirements for obtaining the relevant degree before 30th June 2021.

Candidates who have already passed two-year full-time PGP completed in last 10 years from IIMs with minimum 60 percent marks or equivalent are exempted from the test score and can apply directly. It is necessary that candidates applying for exemption from test must attach copies of both side of the grade sheet to ascertain the equivalence between the grading systems of other IIMs, without which, the application for exemption from test will not be considered.

Age: Candidate must not be more than 40 years as on 1st June 2021.

Reservation: IIM Bodh Gaya will follow strictly the Government of India’s Reservation Policy.

Qualifying Exam: CAT (2019/2020) OR GRE/GMAT/GATE/JRF (UGC/CSIR) (for the relevant area of specialization, the date of examination must be 1st January 2019 or after and its score/result must be valid on or after 1st January 2021).

Candidates will be shortlisted and called for final selection process (Personal Interview & Research Aptitude) based on their performance in qualifying exam, academic background, professional accomplishments, research interest, etc.
