New Delhi, 06 May 2022: Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL)), an integrated oil company and a Central PSU, has announced Recruitment of Officers/Engineers through Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2022
The recruitment of executive engineers is open on the following disciplines:
Chemical Engineering (GATE 2022 code: CH)
Civil Engineering (GATE 2022 code: CE)
Computer Sc & Engineering (GATE 2022 code: CS)
Electrical Engineering (GATE 2022 code: EE)
Instrumentation Engineering (GATE 2022 code: IN)
Mechanical Engineering (GATE 2022 code: ME)
Metallurgical Engineering (GATE 2022 code: MT)
A candidate can apply in IOCL only in any one of the aforesaid disciplines. However, in order to apply, the candidate must have qualified GATE 2022 examination in the said discipline and also done his/her BE/B.Tech from the same discipline.
Selection Process: Selection process shall consist of Group Discussion(GD), Group Task (GT) and Personal Interview (PI). However, eligibility of the candidates shall be verified prior to GD, GT and PI and only those candidates shall be allowed to appear in GD, GT and PI who are meeting the eligibility criteria by furnishing relevant and valid documents in latest formats in Original at the time of document verification.
Additionally, few candidates would also be selected for Engagement as Graduate Apprentice Engineers (GAEs) in line with Apprenticeship Act, 1961 (and subsequent amendments thereafter) from following disciplines.
- Chemical Engineering
- Civil Engineering
- Electrical Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
GAEs are offered lump sum monthly stipend and on the basis of their satisfactory performance during the apprenticeship period, they may be absorbed in the Corporation in the pay scale applicable to induction level officers at the time of such absorption.
