Jabalpur: MP Power Generating Company Limited (MPPGCL), a successor power generating company of erstwhile MP State Electricity Board (MPSEB), is hiring Assistant Engineer (Gen.), for the existing and upcoming Thermal and Hydel Power Stations of the company. The total number of vacant posts are 50 (Mechanical – 30 posts; Electrical – 10 ; Electronics -10).
The selection process of these posts is based on GATE Score and Interview. The eligible candidate should only apply Online through MP Online portal. The short listing of candidates will be done on the basis of requisite qualification and Valid Gate Score Card, valid as on the last date of submission of online application in Mechanical/ Electrical / Electronics.
Key Dates: The closing date for online registration of applications by the candidates is 26 March 2018.
Eligibility Conditions: Full time Regular Engineering Degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics & Instrumentation / Electronics & Telecommunication / Electrical & Electronics from university / institute recognized by UGC / AICTE. Min % (Aggregate marks): 65% or Equivalent CGPA ( UR & OBC).
There is no minimum percentage marks for candidates belonging to SC,ST,PD candidates having M.P Domicile & project affected families as rehabilitated consequent to land acquisition in Shri Singaji Thermal Power Project, Khandwa. However they must have passed the required degree.
Selection Process: The recruitment notification mentioned that the selection process shall consist of Scrutiny of Applications, document verification and Personal interview of shortlisted candidates. The final merit list of the candidates will be prepared category wise in the order of total marks obtained by them in GATE exam and interview jointly. Weightage of Marks: GATE Score – 80 % ; Interview 20 %.
