New Delhi: National Institute of Technology (NIT) Delhi, an autonomous Institute under Ministry of HRD, has invited applications for the faculty positions, purely on contract/ temporary basis. The Designation is Assistant Professor purely on contract/temporary basis for the period of one year or till the end of even semester in the Departments of Computer Science & Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Applied Sciences and Humanities and Management.
Important Dates: The closing date for submission of application is 08 July 2018. The last date of receiving application electronically is 13 July 2018. The Display of Shortlisted candidates for interview is 16 to 18 July 2018.
Eligibility Conditions: The eligible and experienced personnel/professionals from academic institutions, R&D labs and industry having Ph.D. Degree in relevant area are invited to the recruitment of Faculty Positions purely on contract / temporary basis with consolidated salary per month Rs 54,200/.
Selection Procedure:
- List of shortlisted candidates will be uploaded on the institute website for interview schedule.
- Interview procedure will consist of presentation (15 minutes duration with maximum 10 slides of PPT) followed by interaction with the duly constituted selection committee.
- The 15 minutes presentation will consist of candidate’s academic background, research experience, research and teaching plan for next 1 year etc.
- Decision of the duly constituted selection committee will be final.
