Patna: National Institute of Technology (NIT) Patna has released recruitment notification for filling up posts of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor and Professor. The total number of vacant posts are 122.
The vacant posts are available in the following Departments: Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Architecture under 4 tier flexible faculty cadre structure.
The recruitment notice mentioned that there is no vacancy for Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Humanities & Social Sciences department. However, the internal candidates fulfilling the criteria for higher AGP in these departments may apply for the same.
Key Dates & Application Fees: The closing date of submission of online application is 22 January 2018. The closing date of receipt of hard copy of duly filled application form, along with all supporting documents, duly self-attested, and application fee details is 31 January 2018 by 5.30 PM.
The application fee is Rs 600/- for Gen/OBC candidates, Rs 300/- for SC/ST candidates and NIL for PwD candidates) deposited in the specific bank account.
