South Sikkim, 14 February 2022: National Institute of Technology (NIT), Sikkim, an Institute of National Importance, has announced recruitment of Faculty Posts. These posts are available at the following levels: Associate Professors.
Total Number of Vacant Posts: The total number of vacant posts are 07.
Key Dates: Interested candidates may fill the application and send the hard copy to Director, National Institute of Technology Sikkim, Ravangla Sub-Division, South Sikkim 737139 on or before 11 March 2022.
Application Fees: Application fees of INR 1,000.00 for UR/OBC/EWS candidates in the form of Demand Draft in favour of “DIRECTOR, NIT SIKKIM” payable at Ravangla/Gangtok must be enclosed with the application. SC/ST/PwD/Women candidates are exempted from paying the application fee.

Recruitment Process & Basic Eligibility Conditions: This is Under Four Tier Flexible Faculty Cadre Structure.
The selection process will consist of scrutiny of applications for eligibility of applicants as per Gazette notification 24/07/2017 schedule E, Statute 23(5)(A), shortlisting of eligible applicants based on their credit point score and research/ academic performance, followed by presentation/interview.
