Srinagar: National Institute of Technology (NIT) Srinagar, one of the 31 NITs established by Govt of India, is on faculty recruitment drive. The Institute has notified for recruiting faculty posts.
The total number of faculty posts are 76: Assistant Professor (Grade-II) & Assistant Professor (Grade-I) – 59; Associate Professor 13; and Professor -04. These vacant posts are available across 12 departments.
Key Dates and How to Apply: All applications must be accompanied by a non-refundable processing fee of ₹ 1000/-except SC/ST/PWD and Women Candidates.
Candidates should apply online on http://erecruit.nitsri.ac.infrom 09th February, 2020 separately for each post advertised. The last date to fill the online application is 3rdMarch, 2020.
Printout of online application form duly signed along with the self-attested copies of the relevant testimonials, certificates, enclosures, etc. should reach to the Registrar, National Institute of Technology Srinagar, Hazratbal, Srinagar-190006 (J&K) by hand/speed/registered post till 09th March, 2020 (Monday) by 4.30 p.m. failing which their candidature will not be considered.

All New Entrants shall have PhD in the relevant or equivalent discipline and shall have first class in preceding degrees. New entrant means a candidate who is not existing faculty of NIT Srinagar (J&K)[as per clarification no. 5 of GoI, MHRD, F.No.33-9/2011-TS.III, dated 16th April, 2019.].
