Tiruchirappalli, 05 July 2021: National Institute of Technology (NIT), Tiruchirappalli, Top NIT as per NIRF 2020, has announced Recruitment for Temporary Faculty Recruitment. The total number of faculty posts are 42.
Consolidated Remuneration: Rs 50,000/- per month.
Nature of appointment: The appointment is purely temporary for one semester and extendable further depending on the performance as per Government/Institute Norms.
Selection Process: The shortlisted candidates will be called for Interview online.
Essential Qualification:
PhD in the relevant / equivalent discipline and shall have First Class in the preceding Degrees.
For Engineering: First class B.E./B.Tech. or any equivalent Degree and M.E./M.Tech. or any equivalent Degree in relevant discipline.
Candidates having PhD Degree directly after B.E./B.Tech. from reputed Institutions / Universities will also be considered, if other norms are fulfilled.
For Humanities/ Sciences / Computer Applications: B.A./ B.Sc./ B.Com./BCA or any equivalent undergraduate Degree and/ or M.A./ M.Sc./ M.Com./ MCA or any equivalent P.G. Degree in relevant discipline.
Preferable age limit: 35 years, Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer)/PwD as per the GoI norms.
