Bhubaneswar: Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) has invited applications for the post of Lecturers. The total number of vacant posts are 606. They will be employed in different disciplines in Group A of Odisha Education Service (College Branch) in Government Degree Colleges under department of Higher Education.
Key Dates: The online application has opened from 08 February 2020. The closing date for submission of application 02 March 2020.
The last date for receipt of application fee at any branch of State Bank of India is 06 March 2020.

Education & Qualification:
A Candidates should possess a Master’s Degree in the concerned subjects from a recognized university with at least 55% of marks or its equivalent grade with a 2nd Class in the Bachelor’s Degree.
Provided that candidates belonging to the scheduled castes and scheduled tribes shall possess a master degree in the concerned subject from a recognized university with at least 50% of marks or its equivalent grade with a 2nd Class in the Bachelor’s Degree.
NET in the concerned subjects shall remain the compulsory requirement for appointment a lecturer for those with post graduate degree , but the candidates having PhD Degree on the concerned subjects shall be eligible and exempted from the requirement of NET.
