Mangalore: ONGC Mangalore Petrochemicals Limited (OMPL), promoted by Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC) and Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Limited (MRPL), invites job applications for appointing Executives. The recruitment scheme is based on GATE 2017 score card. There are 33 Vacant posts in total in the following streams: Chemical (22 Posts), Instrumentation (08), Chemist (02), and Information Technology (01).
Selection Process: The selection methodology will comprise two stage selection processes: Merit as per GATE 2017 Score, and Personal Interview.
Key Dates & Application Fees: The online application has commenced from 18 October 2017 10 Hrs (IST). The date of closing of online application is 18 November 2017 till 23:59 Hrs.(IST). Candidates belonging to General/OBC category (including non-creamy layer) has to pay anon-refundable application fee of Rs 750/-(Rupees Seven Hundred and Fifty only). SC / ST / PWD/ Ex-Serviceman/ categories and regular employees of OMPL are exempted from payment of Application fee.

Age Limit: 28 years for UR category. Age relaxation is available for reserved categories as per Govt Norms. For regular employees of OMPL, maximum upper age limit is 45 years subject to meeting all other criteria.
Probation and Emoluments: Candidates selected shall be placed on probation as per Company Rules in E1 grade. The candidates selected through GATE Score 2017 shall be offered annual CTC of Rs. 4,00,000/-(Rupees Four Lakhs Only). The annual CTC covers basic pay, HRA, other allowances Provident Fund, Gratuity and variable pay (performance linked). The other benefits shall be applicable to the respective grade as per Company Rule.
