Raichur, Karnataka, 27 March 2026: Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT), Raichur, an Institute of National Importance, has announced Recruitment of Faculty Posts. These posts area available at the following levels: Assistant Professors I & II.
The total number of vacant posts are 08.
The following positions are open:
- Assistant Professor Grade-I (Level 12)
Three years of post-PhD experience in Level 11/10 or equivalent from reputed academic Institutes & Research and Development Labs or relevant industry.
(b) Assistant Professor Grade -II (Level 11/10)
One-year post-Ph.D. experience in Level 10 or equivalent from reputed academic institutes / Research and Development Labs or relevant industries with requisite academic and/or research achievements. Candidates with less than one year’s post-Ph.D. experience may be considered for Level 10.
The positions are benchmarked with CFTI (Centrally Funded Technical Institutions under MOE, Government of India) along with 7th CPC guidelines. Faculty will be appointed to regular positions with the service benefits as per GOI norms.
