These posts are available at the following levels:
Assistant Professor Grade I- Level 12
Assistant Professor Grade II (Contract)- Level 11
Assistant Professor Grade II (Contract) – Level 10

Eligibility Conditions:
Minimum Qualification (Assistant Professor): Ph.D. with first class or equivalent (in terms of grades, etc.) at the preceding degree in the appropriate branch, with a very good academic record in all preceding degrees. For a fresh PhD, the position will be on contract basis for the first three years, and can be regularized afterwards. For those with three or more years of post-PhD teaching/ research/ industrial experience, regular appointment can be made.
