Chennai, 23 March 2024: Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras, an Institute of National Importance, has announced recruitment of Assistant Professors. These posts are available at the following levels: Assistant Professor (Grade I) and Assistant Professor (Grade II).
Key Dates: The recruitment notice released on 11 March 2024. This is a rolling advertisement. There is no specific deadline as to when a candidate can submit an application. Applications will be accepted throughout the year till 31 Dec 2024.
QUALIFICATION & AGE:
PhD, with first class or equivalent at the preceding degree. Specialization in the appropriate area/branch with consistently good academic record throughout. Additional qualifications and specialization areas sought in each department are available at the portal.
Candidates should not have completed 36 year as on 31 Dec 2024. Age relaxation is applicable for OBC, SC/ST, PwD and women candidates.
Experience:
Assistant Professor (Grade II): Candidates with less than three years of post-Ph.D industrial/ research/ teaching experience may be considered for this post.
Assistant Professor (Grade I): Candidates with at-least three years of post-Ph.D industrial/ research/ teaching experience may be considered for the post.
