Kolkata, 21 February 2023: Indian Statistical Institute (ISI) Kolkata has announced Recruitment of Assistant Professors. The total number of assistant professors are 35. Duties include undergraduate and post-graduate teaching, independent research, consultancy/sponsored research, research supervision, and participation in institutional activities.

Eligibility Conditions:
- Ph.D. in the appropriate branch; a first class or equivalent at the preceding degree with a very good academic record throughout
- Should have at least 3 years of post-Ph.D. research/teaching/industrial experience as of 31 December 2023.
Exceptional candidates with less than the requisite post-PhD experience may also be considered for suitable faculty positions at an appropriate pay level. The eligibility criteria shall be as on 31 Dec 2023.
