Pune, 03 August 2021: Defence Institute of Advanced Technology (DIAT) Pune, Deemed to be University (DIAT) under Dept of Defence R&D / DRDO – Ministry of Defence, has announced Faculty Recruitment 2021. These posts are available at the following levels: Assistant Professors and, Professors.
The total number of vacant posts: The total number of vacant posts are 11: Assistant Professors (10), and Professors (01).

Key Dates & Application Fees: Application fee of `500/- (Rupees Five Hundred only) is payable separately for each post which should be in the form of crossed DD drawn in favour of “Vice Chancellor, D.I.A.T.(DU), PUNE”, payable at State Bank of India, Girinagar Branch (Code 02155), PUNE-411025, duly enclosed along with the application before 31 August 2021 (1700h).

Eligibility for Assistant Professors:
A. PhD degree in the relevant subject with Master‘s Degree and Bachelor’s Degree with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point-scale, wherever the grading system is followed in the department specific area of specialization, from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.
OR
B.The PhD degree has been obtained from a foreign university/institution with a ranking among top 500 in the World University Ranking (at any time) by any one of the following: (i) Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) (ii) the Times Higher Education (THE) or (iii) the Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU) of the Shanghai Jiao Tong University (Shanghai).
A relaxation of 5% marks may be provided at the graduate and Masters level for the scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes/Differently-abled categories for the purpose of eligibility and for assessing good academic records.
