Thiruvananthapuram, 26 July 2022: Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST), India’s first Space University was established under the Department of Space in September 2007. IIST has announced recruitment of Assistant Professors.

Emoluments as on date: Level 12 of the Pay Matrix. The gross emoluments in the minimum of
pay band will at present be approximately Rs. 1,00,320/- p.m. In addition, House Rent Allowance
[HRA] and Transport Allowance at the prescribed rates in force will be paid for those who are not
availing Departmental Housing, Transport facility, respectively

Eligibility in Brief:
For Aerospace Engineering -Space Flight Dynamics & Mission Design: PhD in the relevant area of specialisation with visible research output; with first class or equivalent at Bachelors Degree or equivalent in Mechanical / Aerospace Engineering or related field and Masters Degree in Mechanical / Aerospace Engineering or related field.
OR
PhD in the relevant area of specialisation with visible research output; with first class or equivalent at Bachelors Degree or equivalent in Engineering.
