- Grade II – Pay Level 10 in VII CPC [70,900/-pm to ₹ 98,200/-pm]- [Pay Band (PB)-3] with Academic Grade Pay (AGP) ₹ 6000].
- Grade II – Pay Level 11 in VII CPC [₹ 71,000/-pm to ₹ 117,200/-pm]- [PB-3 with AGP ₹ 7000].

All new entrants (except to the Department of Architecture) shall have Ph.D. in the relevant / equivalent discipline and shall have First Class in the preceding degrees.
