New Delhi, 05 September 2022: Power System Operation Corporation Ltd (POSOCO), a Govt. of India Enterprise, under Ministry of Power, Govt. of India, has announced recruitment of Executive Trainees on the basis of GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) 2023 Score.
Executive Trainees will be recruited in the disciplines of Electrical & Computer Science.
Qualified in the GATE-2023: Candidates shall appear in the corresponding paper of GATE-2023 as shown in the following table and Qualify in the same. The qualifying marks shall be as declared by GATE-2023 Organizing Institute. For details on Qualifying marks for all categories, the candidates should visit GATE-2023 Website.
Executive Trainee (Electrical) – Electrical Engineering (EE) Corresponding GATE 2023 Paper
Executive Trainee (Computer Science) – Computer Science and Information Technology (CS)- GATE 2023 Paper
Selection Process: The Selection Process consists of marks obtained (out of 100) in the corresponding paper of GATE-2023, Group Discussion & Personal Interview. Eligible candidates will have to appear in the corresponding paper of GATE-2023 i.e. Electrical Engineering (EE)/ Computer Science and Information Technology (CS).
For calculation of final score of a candidate for empanelment, the weightages of marks obtained in GATE-2023, Group Discussion and Interview shall be as indicated below:
GATE-2023 Marks (out of 100) in corresponding Paper – 85%
Group Discussion – 3%
Personal Interview – 12%
Total – 100%
Key Dates: Application window for POSOCO shall be opened after declaration of GATE-2023 results by the Organizing Institute. A separate notification for the same shall be issued on POSOCO website after the declaration of GATE-2023 results.
