New Delhi, 24 August 2022: Defence Research & Development Organization (DRDO), under Ministry of Defence, Govt of India, has released a notice for recruiting Scientist ‘B’ posts (Graduate Engineers) through GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) 2022 Score.
DRDO has extended the closing date of application to 05 August 2022 (17 Hours).
In a short notification DRSO said “A few candidates have faced issues with the single operational payment gateway till 27th July 2022. In order to help the applicants, another payment gateway has been integrated with the system w.e.f 28th July 2022. In view of the above, the competent authority has agreed to extend the last date for filling application to 5th August 2022, 1700 hours. Candidates may however note that the crucial date for determining the age limit, etc. will remain the same as the closing date notified earlier i.e. 29th July 2022.”

Selection Process:
The shortlisted candidates on the basis of the GATE scores and/or Written Examination will be required to appear in the Personal Interview to be held at Delhi or any other place as decided by RAC/ DRDO.
The offer of appointment to the selected candidates will be restricted to the number of vacancies in order of merit. The appointment, however, will be subject to satisfying conditions like qualifying the Medical Examination prescribed for Group ‘A’ Technical posts of Govt. of India with Field Service liability and verification of character antecedents besides verification of SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwD(HH)/PwD(LD)/PwD(AAV)/PwD(Dw) certificate etc, wherever applicable.
