New Delhi, 13 December 2021: In India there are more than more than 400 state universities . These institutes also provide attractive career opportunities in teaching profession.
According to the UGC existing norms, candidates who qualify National Eligibility Test or State Eligibility Test (SET) are eligible to apply for the post of assistant professor. Candidates who have PhD degree in accordance with UGC regulations will be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/SLET/SET.
As on 13 December 2021, there are Seven State Universities that have opened faculty recruitment window. These posts are available at the following levels: Professors, Associate Professors, Assistant Professors.
The total number of posts are 1,223 posts in these state universities. Out of these posts, more than 1,150 posts are for Assistant Professors.
