Thrissur: The South Indian Bank Ltd., major private sector bank headquartered at Thrissur in Kerala, invites applications from Indian Nationals having their residence in the respective State for filling up vacancies of Probationary Clerks for the branches/offices in Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Delhi NCR.
The total number vacant posts are 468: Probationary Clerks – Kerala (340 posts); Probationary Clerks – Tamil Nadu (68 posts); Probationary Clerks – Andhra Pradesh and Telangana (35 posts); and Probationary Clerks – Delhi NCR (25 posts).
Key Dates: The online registration portal will open from 20 December 2017 to 30 December 2017. The application fee is Rs. 600 for General Category is and Rs. 150 for SC/ST category (Excluding GST and other charges).
Eligibility Conditions:
Educational Qualification as on 31 December 2017: X/ SSLC, XII/ HSC & Graduation with minimum 60 % marks under regular course.
Age: Less than 26 years as on 31 December 2017. Candidate should be born not earlier than 01 January 1992 and not later than 31 December 1997 (both days inclusive).
Upper age limit will be relaxed by 5 years in the case of SC/ST candidates.
Other Requirements: Candidates having permanent address in the respective state or those who have been residing in the same state continuously for the last 5 years and are proficient in local language apart from English only are eligible to apply.
Selection Process: The recruitment process has two phases: Online Test and Personal Interview. Candidates will be shortlisted for Interview, on the basis of performance in Online test. The final selection shall be made on the basis of Personal Interview.
