The eligible candidates must have appeared for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE)-
- Candidates shall be shortlisted based on 2023 GATE score from among the candidates who apply
against the advertisement for the post of Engineer Trainee (Civil/Electrical/Mechanical/Electronics &
Instrumentation) in THDCIL.

Selection Procedure:
The selection process consists of marks obtained in the corresponding paper of GATE 2023,
Group Discussion and Personal Interview.
For calculation of final score of a candidate for empanelment, the weightage of marks obtained
in GATE 2023, Group Discussion and Personal Interview shall be indicated below:
GATE 2023 score in corresponding paper 75%
Group Discussion 10%
Personal Interview 15%
