Chennai, 21 July 2023: University of Madras, a state university in Chennai, has announced recruitment of faculty posts (Temporary Assistant Professor) for its Institute of Distance Education.

The total number of vacant posts are 48 for 19 departments.

Key Dates: The closing date for submission of filled in application is 31 July 2023.

Remuneration: Consolidated Remuneration: Rs.30,000/- per month.

Nature of appointment: The appointment is purely temporary basis for a period of 11 months (initially four months and extendable for further seven months) or until the appointment of permanent faculty whichever is earlier.
