Chennai, 16 January 2021: Alagappa University, a state public university based in Karaikudi (Tamil Nadu), has invited applications from eligible candidates for admission to PhD progarmmes for February 2021. The PhD progarmmes are available in 36 subjects/streams in following faculties: Arts, Science, Management and Education.
Key Dates: The online application portal has opened from 06 January 2021. The online application portal will close on 28 January 2021. Application Fee is Rs.500/- . The date of PhD Examination is 07 February 2021 (Sunday).
The Entrance Examination for Ph.D. Programme is Compulsory for all the Candidates (except those with NET/SET/GATE) irrespective of possessing or not possessing M.Phil degree.
Eligibility Conditions (Min mark in the Qualifying Degree): Candidates who have passed through 10+2+3+2/11+1+3+2/10+3+2+2 pattern alone can apply50 % of marks for SC/ST/OBC (non creamy layer) / Person with Disablity
55 % of marks for all Other Candidates
M.Ed.(Education / Spl Education)/M.A. Education is essential for Ph.D. in Education
