Allahabad, 24 April 2022: University of Allahabad, a Central University in Uttar Pradesh, has announced Combined Research Entrance Test (CRET) 2021 for admission to PhD Programmes. These PhD programmes are available in the university main Campus and its 8 Constituent Colleges.
Total Vacant PhD Seats: The total number PhD seats available are 611 across 41 subjects. These PhD seats are available in the University of Allahabad Main Campus and its 8 constituent colleges: Chowdhary Mahadev Prasad Degree College, Allahabad Degree College, Ishwar Saran Degree College, Jagat Taran Girls Degree College, Sadanlal Sanwaldas Khanna Girls Degree College, Arya Kanya Degree College, Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Government Degree College, and Ewing Christian Colleges.
Selection Procedure: Combined Research Entrance Test (CRET) 2020 and Interview. The following category students are exempted from CRET: Teacher of the University or Constituent Colleges candidate for PhD ; The candidates qualified in Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) conducted by UGC/CSIR.
