Kasaragod, 23 February 2026: Kerala University, Central University, has announced PhD Admission on a rolling basis for admission to the PhD Programme in various Schools Departments exclusively from candidates holding valid CSIR- UGC Junior Research Fellowship (iRF). subject to availability of vacancies.
Key Dates: The window of the Notification will be open upto 31 December 2026
(A) Candidates who have completed Two year/four semester h/asters Degree after a three year Bachelor Programme, with a minimum of 55o/o marks aggregate or equivalent grade.
OR
One year/two semester [Vasters Degree after a four year Bachelor
Programme, with a minimum of 55% marks aggregate or equivalent grade.
OR
Four year Bachelor Degree with a minimum of 75 % marks in aggregaie or its
equivalent grade.
OR
MPhil. Degree with 55% of marks or its equivalent grade
OR
Candidates holding an equivalent qualification from an accredited/recognized
foreign educational institution.
A relaxation of 5% marks or its equivalent grade is allowed for candidates
who belong to SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer)/Differently-Abled, Economically
Weaker Section (EWS) and other categories of candidates as per the decision of the
Commission from time to time.
Submission of application
Applications may be submitted throughout the year through Samarth Portal. Candidates seeking admission to the Doctoral Programme in CUK may apply online as per the details available in the University webslte www.cukerala”ac”in by paying an amount of Rs.1000 for UR/OtsC/EWS and Rs 500 for SC/ST/PWD candidates
