Meerut, 17 December 2020: Chaudhary Charan Singh University (formerly, Meerut University), a state university in Uttar Pradesh, has announced PhD Admission for 2020-21. Admission is open for Exempt Category of PhD Course, where PhD Admission  Test (Common Entrance Test) will not be held.  The total number of PhD Seats available is more 1,400 across 22 subjects.

Applicants who have qualified UGC (NET/ JRF)/ CSIR / ICAR/ examination/Other National Fellowships Examinations, or Teachers (Permanent in Chaudhary Charan Singh University), or Passed MPhil Programme (55%) from Chaudhary Charan Singh University, are eligible to apply for PhD Admission.

Total vacant PhD Seats: The total number of PhD seats available for admission is 1,407 across 22 departments.

Key Dates: The online application portal has opened from 15 December 2020. The online application portal will close on 31 January 2021.  The closing date for submission of Hard Copy of Online application at the University is 10 February 2021.
