Sirsa, Haryana: Chaudhary Devi Lal University, Sirsa, has invited online applications for PhD programmes for the session 2017-18. The PhD programmes are offered in 13 subjects with 59 seats.
Key Dates & Application Fees: Application Form should be filled up online through University website www.cdlu.digitaluniversity.ac.in alongwith fee of Rs.1650/- (Rs.450/- for SC/BC/DAP) which includes Rs.50/- on account of online application fee, w.e.f. 11 January 17. Last date for submission of online Application Form is 01 January 18. The hard copy of online Application Form alongwith required documents and system generated challan either in person or By Post should reach in the office of the concerned Department(s) by 03 January 2018.

Eligibility Conditions:
(a) A candidate(s) seeking admission in PhD must have Master’s / MPhil Degree with at least 55% marks (52.25% for SC/ST/differently abled candidates having more than 40% disability) in aggregate or its equivalent grade in the UGC 7- point scale (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever the grading system is followed)in the subject chosen for research or an allied subject (the alliance and/or equivalence for this purpose only, will be decided by the DRC).
(b) An M.Phil. Student of this University (CDLU, Sirsa) whose M.Phil dissertation has been evaluated and the Viva Voce is pending may be admitted to the Ph.D. programme subject to having required minimum marks as mentioned above in clause-(a) above.
A relaxation of 5 percent marks (2.75 out of 55) at Master’s / M.Phil degree (or equivalent) level will be allowed for SC/ST/differently abled candidates having more than 40% disability) candidate(s).
