New Delhi: The admission session for the next semester of PhD programmes has picked up. Many Indian Institute of Technology (IITs), Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research (IISERs), premier educational institutes , central universities have already notified their admission procedure for the Semester II 2017-18 or for the session 2018-19.
Among IITs, IIT Madras, IIT Bombay, IIT Gandhinagar, IIT Palakkad, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Ropar have already notified their PhD admission for the semester II 2017-18. The PhD programmes will commence here in January 2018. Similarly among IISERs, IISER Bhopal, IISER Mohali, IISER Kolkata, IISER Pune, IISER Thiruvananthapuram, and IISER Berhmapur have already released notification for PhD Admission 2018.
Admission window is open for doctoral programmes in the following universities: Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), Chandigarh University, Xaviers University Bhubaneswar India and Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR), Himalayan University , Itanagar and others.
Also among premier research institutes, Indian Institute of Astrophysics (IIA), Bangalore, cademy of Scientific & Innovative Research (AcSIR), Chennai, and National Brain Research Centre (NBRC), Gurugaon where PhD application window is open.
PhD admission window is open in Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore for Mid-Year Admissions 2017.
