Fakir Mohan University offers the following two types of Ph.D. programme:
- a) Ph.D. in Regular mode (Ph.D.)
- b) Ph.D. in Executive mode (Executive Ph.D.)

Eligibility Conditions:
The candidates who have qualified in:
- Category 1: National level fellowship/ scholarship such as JRF (UGC/ CSIR/ ICMR/ ICSSR/ ICAR etc.).
- Category 2: National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by UGC/CSIR and GATE.
iii. Category 3: National Eligibility Test (NET) in the category for admission to Ph.D. programme only and not for the award of JRF or appointment as Assistant Professor.
