New Delhi, 22 June 2022: In India there are more than 50 Central Universities. These institutes offer attractive Teaching Assistantship or Institutional Fellowships to PhD scholars.
As on 22 June 2022, there are five Central Universities have announced PhD for 2022. The total number of PhD seats are expected be more than 2,000 seats.

University of Delhi Opens PhD Admission 2022-23 for 1350 Seats
New Delhi, 22 June 2022: University of Delhi, a Central University, has announced Admission to PhD Admission for 2022-23. The application portal has opened from 26 July 2021 for PG and PhD Admission.
Admission to PhD Program is through DUET 2022, followed by an interview. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has been entrusted with the conduct of Delhi University Entrance Test.
The admission to the Program is through an entrance test, which results in the shortlisting of the candidates for the interview. It may be noted that certain Departments may have mode of evaluation other than Interview. Candidate may refer to the Departmental website directly for the details.

Sikkim University Opens PhD Admission for 2022-23 for 115 Seats
Sikkim, 22 June 2022: Sikkim University, a Central University, invites applications for admission to PhD programmes for the academic year 2022-23.
Total Number of Vacant Seats: The total number of vacant seats are 115 for PhD in 27 subjects.
Key Dates & Application Fees: The closing date for submission of application is 11 July 2022.
Date of written test (online / offline) – 30 and 31 August 2022.
The cost of online application and entrance test is Rs. 1000/- for General, OBC and EWSs candidates and Rs. 500/- for SC/ST/PWD candidates
Nalanda University Announces Admission for MA, MBA & PhD Progarmmes 2022-23

Aizawl, 14 June 2022: Mizoram University, a Central University, has announced Admission for UG, PG and PhD Courses for 2022-2023.
Key Dates: The closing date for online application is 07 July 2021 5:00pm. (for UG/PG), and 07 August 2022 5:00pm (for PhD).
How to Apply: Applicants must apply through online mode only vide MHRD instruction D.O.
