Gandhinagar, 05 March 2024: Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Gandhinagar, an Institute of of National Importance, has announced Early Admit MTech programme for 2024-25.
IIT Gandhinagar invites applications from BTech students from select institutes for its Early Admit MTech programme beginning in July 2024.
Program Highlights:
GATE score is NOT mandatory for admission.
Fellowship of INR 15,400 per month (for candidates with valid GATE score) or INR 6,000 (for others).
Candidates can choose to appear for GATE for a boost in stipend.
Travel support to the extent of INR 60,000 for attending international conferences.
The selected candidates may have opportunity to complete 8th semester of BTech at IITGN as a visiting student, before joining the MTech programme at IITGN.
Eligibility Criteria
Final year BTech (or equivalent undergraduate degree in Engineering) students from NITs with a CPI/ CGPA of not less than 8.0 (General/EWS/OBC) OR CPI/ CGPA of not less than 7.5 (SC/ST/ PwD) at the end of their 3rd year.
- Final year BTech (or equivalent undergraduate degree in Engineering)
students from select colleges (including NITs) who are among the top 5 rank holders in the departments at the end of their 3rd year for candidates from
General/EWS/OBC categories OR top 10 rank holders in the departments at the end of their 3rd year for candidates from SC/ST/PwD categories.
- Students from Final year BTech (or equivalent undergraduate degree in Engineering) from IITs with a CPI/CGPA of not less than 6.0 at the end of their 3rd year.

The online application will close on 20 March 2024.
