Visakhapatnam, 09 May 2021: Gandhi Institute of Technology and Management (GITAM), Deemed University offers the following Research programmes for the academic year 2020-21: PhD (Full-time / Part-time). The PhD Prorammes are available for its campuses: Visakhapatnam, Hyderabad and Bangalore.
Admission shall be based on the marks secured in the Online Entrance Test and Interview.

Candidates have to submit an online application form at https://researchadmissions.gitam.edu by paying a non-refundable registrationfee of Rs. 800/- (Rupees eight hundred only) through Debit card / Credit card(Master / VISA) / Net Banking / UPI.
Educational Qualification: The candidates should have secured at least 55% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade B in the UGC 7 – point scale or the point scale followed in the concerned institutions. However, a relaxation of 5% marksor an equivalent grade is permitted for SC / ST / OBC (Non-creamy layer) /Differently-abled category candidates.
Admission shall be based on the marks secured in the Entrance test and Interview, subject to the fulfillment of the eligibility criteria and the rules of reservation.
Candidates belonging to the following categories need not appear for the Entrance Test: Those who are qualified and possessing a valid score in UGC-NET (including JRF) / UGC-CSIR NET (including JRF) / ICMR / GATE / GPAT / SLET / Teacher Fellowship and MPhil Degree holders.
Fellowships: Few Merit Research Fellowships will be provided to the Ph.D. (Full time) candidates for a maximum duration of three years, subject to review the progress of work and publication output every year. The merit research fellowship for candidates with NET / GATE / SLET is Rs. 20,000/- per month and for candidates without NET / GATE / SLET is Rs. 15,000/- per month.
